Top 5 DIY Wedding Detail Ideas

We were so looking forward to Leah and Robbie's wedding and it didn’t disappoint. Captured beautifully by Carole-Ann from Harper Scott Photography, it was a rustic, romantic and fun filled occasion. If you want to see more details on this gorgeously relaxed wedding head over to Braw Brides.

With only four months of planning they had a great deal to do, but they still found time to focus on the detail. We’ve picked our top 5 DIY wedding details from Leah and Robbie’s nuptials as inspiration for any future Cow Shed couples.

  1. The personalised signage - makes guests feel at home straight away.

  2. The use of ribbons and garlands as a wedding backdrop in the old cow shed - ribbons are a really easy and relatively inexpensive way to add colour and a focal point. If you fancy giving one a go check out this DIY tutorial on Wedding Chicks.

  3. Assorted paper fans – so simple yet grouped together really complement the rustic backdrop provided by The Cow Shed.

  4. The chair décor up the aisle – such a simple touch but so beautiful.

  5. The doggy ring bearer – everyone is welcome at The Cow Shed and it is so important that the whole family takes part. We’re all for dogs taking on a starring role. If you need any inspiration for your own four legged friend check out Style & The Bride.

We say thank you to Leah, Robbie and their guests for bringing so much colour, style and happiness to The Cow Shed Crail.
